A ccntract <br />was awarded for clearing and fencing at Ruedi <br />Reservcir in August and clearing operaticns <br />were initiated late in that month. <br /> <br />On August 31, 1966, the ccntractcr for <br />the ccnstructicn of the Divide, Scuth Fork, and <br />Chapman Tunnels, Diversicn Dams, and Appurte- <br />nant structures cf the South Side Ccllecticn <br />System had ccmpleted 28.2 percent of the ccn- <br />tract with 35.4 percent of the contract time <br />elapsed. <br /> <br />As cf August 31, excavaticn cf the tunnels <br />had prcgressed as fcllcws: Divide, 6,581 feet; <br />Scuth Fcrk, 5,756 feet; Chapman. 8,362 feet. <br />Excavaticn was initiated at Chapman Tunnel inlet <br />heading late in the pericd. The Thcmasville- <br />Nast portion of Ccunty Read 104 relccation was <br />ccmpleted and work ccntinued en the Divide <br />Tunnel Inlet pcrtal access road. <br /> <br />On August 31, 1966, the ccntractcr fer <br />ccnstruction cf Sugar Leaf Dam and reads had <br />ccmpleted 32.8 percent cf the contract with <br />22.2 percent cf the contract time elapsed. <br />Ccncrete placement is essentially ccmplete fer <br />the cutlet wcrks conduit. Excavaticn cperaticns <br />ccntinued and zone placements were made en the <br />dike.
