A number ofsigniticant <br />and damaging Hoods occurred. especially along <br />the Front Range. as a result of l1ash !1ooding <br />from thunderstorm activity. Icon Enginl."ering. <br />under contract to the C\\TH. assisted in the <br />documentation of Si:\'l."ral !lood evenlS in <br />local ions such as Golden. Jamestown. JctTerson <br />COllnty. reller COllnty and Colorado Springs. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Flooding in Golden along Arapahoe Gulch <br />completely destroyed one home. and sC\'crely <br />damal!ed several others. when at least three <br />inche; of rain fell over the watershed within a <br />short duration. The following photograph <br />sho\\s the high \\ater line on the home of\lr. <br />and .\Irs. Ricciardi. \\ho unfortunately lost <br />e\"Cf) thing on June 27 as a result of the <br /> <br />Arapahoe Gulch flood.
