glad the Board has come down to meet in the
Valley here. We will go down to see the dry
hole later. 1 think it is a nice deal that we
have the meeting here. Thank you."

"Thank you, Frank. 1 would like at this
time to introduce Representative Fraru, Evans
from Pueblo who has been most helpful in the
Legislature this year. 1 consider him, as do
many people, the leading freshman member of the
House of Representatives. We are glad to have
you here, Frank."

"Now I would like to introduce to the mem-
bers of the audience, the members of our Board.
I know many of you come to our meetings when
they are held in Denver and other places in the
state and 1 would like to introduce them at this
time. First, Mr. Dave Miller from Greeley -
Dave, would you stand up so they can identify. you?
You already all know Judge Dick Conour from Del
Norte: Mr. Ray Moses, our attorney, from Alamosa:
Mr. Larry Sparks, our Director, whom everyone
knows: Mr. Clarence Burr from Walden: Ted
McCandless from Craig: Bill Nelson from Grand
Junction: F. M. 'Pete' Peterson from Delta: and
John Barnard, Jr., the Assistant Attorney Gen-
eral who handles water matters. Also Dr. Clark
who is the head of our Department of Natural
Resources for the State of Colorado. Dr. Clark."

"And Ben Stapleton, our Chairman, from Den-
ver."

"I am very proud of the fact and I know you
appreciate that this is a complete and full com-
plement of all the non-paid appointed members of
the ~later Board, and this is the type of cooper-
ation that the State has had from this Board and
previous Boards, and 1 am delighted with the
interest they have shown. 1 can say, of course,
that we are all impatiently awaiting the hear-
ings this next week on the big project and
