To assist you with the preparation of a letter of <br />request, I have included a sample letter to be used as a guide. <br /> <br />As stated above, the CWCB has already designated the 1996 FIS. The proposed <br />designation of the 1989 FIS and the 1993 FIS will not affect the prior designation of the <br />1996 FIS. The 1989 FIS will be designated only for the time period from 1989 until <br />1993, and the 1993 FISwill be designated only for the time period from 1993 until 1996. <br />The designation of the 1996 FIS will remain fully in effect. <br /> <br />I would like to schedule a visit to Parker so I can discuss with you, any elected officials, <br />and other interested parties your floodplain information and any issues related to that <br />floodplain information. Although the CWCB is looking specifically at the floodplain <br />information contained in the two FIS', I expect that ongoing development activity in <br />Parker may mean that there is other floodplain information that should be discussed.
