RPMD and its team of consultants is continually working with all impacted,
entities, in particular South Suburban Parks and Recreation District, to incorporate remediation
measures to ensure that the disturbed areas will be returned to a condition equal to or better than
presently exists.
3. South Suburban Parks and Recreation District must approve the project before CWCB action is taken.
RPMD has obtained approval of the pipeline alignment through City of Littleton, South Suburban
Parks and Recreation District arid South Platte Park property. In addition to these approvals, there will
be certain enhancements to the South Platte Park portion of the alignment that will be in addition to
the normal site restoration and re-vegetation requirements.
4. Project bonding, long-term warranty and liability responsibilities. All construction contracts will
include checking contractor pre-qualification statements, proof of bonding and insurance capabilities,
references, change order and warranty follow up history, and ability to work in public and
environmentally sensitive areas.
5. Easement fee analysis. CWCB staff have presented an initial cost for the easement. RPMD will
respond to this at the March 22, 2005 Board Meeting.
6. Approvalfrom other interested governmental entities. There are a number of governmentaVmunicipal
entities and utility companies that are currently involved with and impacted by this project. Approval
has been obtained from the following entities; City of Littleton, South Suburban Parks and Recreation
District, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, US Army Corps of Engineers,
Denver Water, Colorado Department of Transportation, Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield,
Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Colorado State Parks~ and Public Service Company of Colorado.
7. As
noted on the application and in this letter, legal descriptions and exhibits of the pipeline easement will
be prepared as construction is completed. There will be minimal change to the alignment as shown on
these preliminary construction drawings. All survey, construction drawings, legal descriptions and
exhibits are and will continue to be prepared from GPS field survey on the 1983 State Plane horizontal
coordinate system and 1988 USGS vertical datum. A survey control plan will be prepared for the
entire project. All such information will be available for use by CWCB.
8. Show accurate survey of existingfeatures. All existing features, above ground and below ground
utilities, property lines, easements and public infrastructure will be shown on the construction
drawings using the horizontal and vertical control described above.
9. Construction management and safety programs. The construction contract documents and technical
specifications will address these issues. In addition notes and specification references will be included
on the construction drawings for ease of reference. All impacted/approving entities, including the
CWCB will be given the opportunity to review and comment on the construction plans, contract
documents and specifications as they are being prepared.

RP,MD is requesting approval of this easement request application by the Board of Directors at the March 22,
2005 Board Meeting.

~o
~~

General Manager
Roxborough Park Metropolitan District
