<br />Ryan Gulch Spillway Rehabilitation Study <br />Plan of Study <br />Page 2 <br />5 Financial Analysis <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Memorandum <br /> <br />6 <br />7 <br /> <br />Study Report <br /> <br />Report <br /> <br />Coordination Meetings <br /> <br />Progress Reports <br /> <br />Task 1 - Data Collection <br />Objective: <br />A thorougb knowledge of previous studies wiIl be augmented with published physical information, <br />environmental and water rights issues. The published physical information will include construction drawings <br />of the existing facilities. Researching 'available information will develop an understanding of the <br />environmental and water rights issues. <br /> <br />Methodology: <br />I. Available water rights information from tIJe Company will be reviewed and tabulated. <br />2. Existing two-foot contour maps will be obwined from the City of Loveland and the Company. Survey <br />spot checks will be identified during the field investigation associated with flow structures, if required. <br /> <br />Products: <br />I. A task memorandum will be prepared listing available project information and stating Boyle's <br />understanding of existing facilities, environmental and water rights issues which will impact the . <br />project. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Hydrologic Analysis <br />The State Engineer's Office (SEO) is presently reviewing the hydrologic study that was performed by Ed <br />Toms, Consulting Engineer. The study included all incremental damage analysis to justifY a lower capacity <br />spillway then the State requires. A summary of the hydrologic analysis will be prepared and included with the <br />report. <br /> <br />Task 3 - Alternative Development <br />Objective: <br />Several alternatives will be developed including structural and nonstructural elements in an attempt to identifY <br />the least cost combination of measures for achieving the study objective. <br /> <br />Methodology: <br />I. IdentifY structural and non-structural plan elements. <br />2. Preliminary evaluate plan elements to determine which are suitable for further analysis. <br />3. Formulate alternatives using those plan elements, which are carried forward from the first two steps. <br /> <br />Products: <br />I. A memorandum will be prepared describiIlg the methods used in formulating altematives from the <br />plan elements.
