I

On the Narrm'1s Unit, we had completed,
since our last meeting, a draft of the feasi-
bility report which had been sent around for
review to our regional office, Chief Engineer's
office, and a very informal review in our
Washington office, and from those comments
that we had received on those we had revised
the report as far as we could take it. We
were still lacking items in connection with
the Fish and wildlife and National Park Ser-
vice so we could not complete the report in
its final form. This past week, however, we
did receive the necessary figures and are now
proceeding to revise our cost estimates, bene-
fits, and allocations so that within the next
two weeks we hope to have, over to the printers,
the completed draft of the report. I th.ink
by about the end of August or early in septem-
ber we should have that report in Washington.

On our Upper South Platte Unit, progress
was made in all phases of the investigation.
The completed work consisted of final tracings
of topographic maps for Two Forks and Turkshead
Dam sites, the preliminary draft of the geology
report, and the preliminary operation study for
determining the size of Two Forks Reservoir.

Compilation of design data is in progress
and work is continuing on the geological inves-
tigations and the road relocation studies.

Bureau of Reclamation officials met with
officials of the City of Aurora and discussed
the possibility of using Two Forks Reservoir
for holdover storage of Homestake Project water.
The objective of the discussions was to seek
the city officials' concurrence that the upper
South Platte operation studies should include
the transbasin imports and water utilization
of the Homestake Project.
