Town of - Raw Water Pipeline <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 94-29 <br />Water Source: Big Thompson River <br />Terms of Loan: $2,500.000 @4% for 30 years <br /> <br />County: Larimer <br />Project Yield: 2,200 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Pipeline Construction <br /> <br />The project includes the replacement of II miles of open ditch with a 14-16 inch pipeline <br />from Lonetree Reservoir to the Town of Johnstown's water treatment plant including a booster <br />station at the reservoir and connection facilities at the treatment plant. PRC Environmental <br />Management, Inc, of Denver designed the project, The construction contract was awarded to Hall- <br />Irwin Construction Co. of Greeley and B,T. Construction, Inc. of Broomfield August 6. 1996. <br />Construction commenced in early October 1996 and was completed in June 1997, Project <br />documentation and final accounting is currently underway with substantial completion scheduled in <br />February 1998, The Town is considering additional work at their storage reservoir to utilize their <br />entire loan authorization, Staff is currently reviewing the Town's request. <br /> <br />Weldon Valley Ditch Company - Weldon Valley Ditch Diversion Structure Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 97-008 <br />Water Source: South Platte Riyer <br />Terms of Loan: $188,000@3,5%for20yrs <br /> <br />County: Weld <br />Project Yield: 45,000 ac,ft, <br />Project Type: Diversion Structure <br /> <br />This $250,000 project is the re-construction of the Weldon Valley Ditch Diversion <br />Structure on the South Platte River in Weld County west of the Town of Orchard. Jack Odor <br />Engineering Services, Inc, of Fort Morgan, Colorado, completed project design. Project <br />construction commenced by Ransom Boone Construction, Inc. of Fort Morgan October 21, 1997 <br />and was completed in January 1998. Project documentation and final accounting is currently <br />underway with substantial completion scheduled in February 1998, <br /> <br />Smith Ditch Comoration - Smith Ditch Diversion Structure Reconstruction <br /> <br />Authorization: Small Project Loan Account <br />Water Source: EIkhead Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $50,000 @ 3,75% for 30 yrs <br /> <br />County: Routt <br />Project Yield: 1,205 ac.ft, <br />Project Type: Diversion Structure Rehab. <br /> <br />This $175,000 project is the construction of a new diversion structure to be located <br />approximately 200 feet downstream of the existing diversion and headgate. The project <br />incorporates the use of an 8-foot high inflatable weir capable of developing backwater upstream to <br />the existing headgate. The Routt County office of the Natural Resources Conservation Service <br />prepared project design. Project construction commenced August 25 by Wagner Construction <br />Company of Craig, Colorado. Project completion is scheduled for April 1998, <br />
