<br />v <br />~12 <br /> <br />Mr, Christian Wunsch, appointed by the Governor as a <br />member of the Board, arrived anq was introduced to the <br />Board, <br /> <br />Mr. Bailey read the following Executive Order from the <br />Governor: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE ORDER <br />'~M~R <br />~T~ <br />WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br /> <br />ORDERED: <br /> <br />That Christian Wunsch, of La Junta, Colorado <br />be and he is hereby appointed a Member of the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board, to fill the vacancy <br />occasioned by the death of John W, Beaty, for a term <br />expiring May 12, 1957, <br /> <br />GIVEN under my hand and the Executive Seal <br />this Twelfth Day of.May, A,D, 1955, <br /> <br />/s/ E~, C. Johnson <br />. Governor <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Oath of Office was administered to Mr, Wunsch and <br />he was sworn in as a member of the Board, <br /> <br />Consideration of the Budget continued with a discussion <br />of ground water studies, <br /> <br />Mr, Crawford read two letters from Mr, McLaughlin of <br />the U,S,G,S" one dated August 29, 1955, and the other, <br />August 30, 1955, <br /> <br />Mr, McLaughlin presented a series of maps and explained <br />to the Board what was involved'in a detailed investigation, <br /> <br />E.~UME: <br /> <br />UI think that is a fine demonstration of <br />what this work involves, If the State' <br />provides more money, would the U.S,G,S, <br />be able to put on more men to accomplish <br />the work faster?U <br /> <br />I <br />
