Mr, Bailey then introduced Mr, John B, Barnard, Jr"
Assistant Attorney General assigned to water matters, who
was acting for Duke Dunbar, Attorney General,

Reorganization of Board

MR, BAILEY:

"It has been customary after appointment of
new members to reorganize the Board, That
means the election of a Vice-Chairman and
a Secretary,"

MR, MOSES:

"I nominate Mr, Bailey as Vice-Chairman,"

Mr, Pughe seconded the nomination, There were no
further nominations and, upon vote, the motion was
carried,

Mr, Pughe then nominated Ivan C, Crawford, Director,
as Secretary of the Board, and there being no further
nominations, the motion was carried unanimously,

The meeting was then called to order by Vice-Chairman
Bailey,

1, Minutes of Meeting of June 20, 1955

MR. BAILEY:

"Are there any suggestions or corrections
concerning the minutes of the last meeting?"

MR, CRAWFORD: "We have received no corrections to the
minutes in this office,"

MR, MOSES:

"I move that the reading of the minutes be
dispensed with and that the minutes of
June 20 be approved,"

The motion was seconded by Mr, Pughe and upon vote,
the motion carried unanimously and the minutes were
declared approved,

2, Consideration of Budget
"The next item is consideration of the budget,"

Mr, Crawford stated that copies of the summary of
the 1956-57 budget had been furnished to Board members,
He then proceeded with an explanation of the budget,
