<br /> <br />52 <br /> <br />Vena Pointer stated that ~he believed ner resignation as Seoretary <br />should be presented to the Board due to the faot that she had aoted as suoh <br />Seoretary until a Direotor vms appointed and now, that one had been <br />appointed, it seemed advisable that he also act in the capacity of <br />Secretary. She then formally offered her resigIlation. <br /> <br />Attorney General Rogers suggested'the resignation _y be <br />considered as submitted but that action be taken in executive session <br />of the Board. <br /> <br />The report of Attorney General Rogers respecting the present <br />status of interstate water litigation, in which the State of Colorado <br />is interested was then _de by him, a copy of which appears in the <br />stenographio report of the meeting. <br /> <br />Recess was taken at 12130 until 2:00 o'olock p. m. <br /> <br />Meeting reconvened at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon of August <br />16, 1939. Executive Session was declared and the report of Director <br />stone, a copy of which appears in the stenographic report of said <br />proceedings, 'Was made and consumed the full time until adjournment at <br />5:40 p. m., when the session reoessed until 10:00 o'clock a. m., Thursday, <br />August 17, 1939. <br /> <br />Meeting reconvened at 10 :25 a. m. Thursday, August 17, 1939 <br />and was called to order by Governor Ralph L. Carr, Chairman of the <br />Board. <br /> <br />Mr. Dille, MEIIllber of the Board, entered his appearance. <br /> <br />Thereupon C. L. Patterson, Chief Engineer of the Board, <br />presented his report, copy of which appears in stenographic report of <br />the proceedings, which report was conoluded at 12:30 p. m. when receSll' <br />was taken until 2:15 p. m. of the same day. <br /> <br />. Meeting reconvened at 2:15 p. m Vice-Chairman Chris Wallrich <br />presiding. <br /> <br />Mr. Wallrich introduced R. J. Tipton, Consultant of the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board, who J;l'esented his repCl)rt, coF./- of which <br />appears in the stenographic report of the meeting. <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Fo.ster and seconded by Mr. Dille that the <br />expenditure of $250.00 for the purpose of seouring engineering data <br />in the Arkansas Valley, 1PIhioh amount has been partially paid by the <br />Arkansas Valley Ditch Association, be authorized for payment by <br />the Colorado Water Conservatian Board. <br /> <br />
