"Would it be in order to have a memorial
for Mr. Bailey and Mr. Roberts, such a memorial
to be prepared by the Secretary?"

-I think we should have a committee."

"I move that a memorial be prepared by the
Vice-Chairman of the Board, the Governor,
and the Director of the Board with the help
of Mr. Chilson, in memory of Mr. Bailey who,
I think, served as Vice-Chairman from the
commencement of this Board, and Mr. Roberts."

"Would it be out of order to approve that
memorial at this particular time without
its being presented to us?"

"Moved that those named be authorized to
prepare such a memorial on behalf of the Board."

of this meettng, Project Manager of the
Uncompahgre Valley Water Users Association.-

"Hardly host. I am here as spokesman
for the various hosts.

Gentlemen, it is a little late in the day
for a greeting. We are very pleased at your
consenting to have your meeting here in Montrose.
We extend our very hearty welcome and extend
that in the name of the City of Montrose,
Chamber of Commerce, and the various groups
who have gotten together to bring to you some
sort of a program. I hope your stay will
be pleasant. I say that with reservations.
I hope you get considerable pleasure in a
rather full schedule, the schedule after your
business meeting here, as discussed with Mr.
Peterson and by telephone with Mr. Crawford.'

Understand, we are interested in your
folks knowing what our need for water development
in this area is and the way we feel you will
be better acquainted with it will be for
you to have the opportunity to see the area
involved.
