<br />189 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />of the Green Mountain Reservoir. The United States has instituted an <br />action in the UnitedoStates District Court for Colorado to determine <br />the priority date that should be awarded the Green Mountain Reservoir <br />and the power plant. The legal problems and questions involved in <br />those suits must be decided before there can be any determination of <br />the relative priority rights of Denver and whether Denver yall get the <br />water which under Senate Docu~ent No. 80 was intended for use in <br />Western Colorado. <br /> <br />Mr. Saunders moved that Mr. Delaney's substitute statement be used. <br /> <br />Mr. Dutcher seconded tfie motion - it was unanimously carried. <br />122. 0 1 <br />Mr. Dutcher suggested that his statement on Fage 3&, Par-a~papR-4, <br />be stricken from the minutes and the folloyang statement be added, <br />follo,ving his statement as it appears in the third to last paragraph <br />on Fage 29 .. "If anyone in Western Colorado had any comment or ob- <br />servation to make on the proposed motion, now was the time to make it <br />before it was voted upon, and not after the vote was taken." No one <br />from I'estern Colorado had any additional comment. The motion was carried. <br /> <br />t. " <br /> <br />Mr. Breitenstein remarked that the Board must take serious con- <br />sideration regarding the manner of reporting of the Board's Minutes and <br />suggested'the use of tape recording, or t?e employing of a court steno- <br />grapher. <br /> <br />tIT. Dutcher and Chairman Bailey concurred in this suggestion. <br />No action was taken. <br /> <br />23. lir. Bailey asked whether he should name Mr. Dille as Secretary <br />of the Board. <br /> <br />l.lr.ODille said, "Remove my nallle as Secretary and appoint the <br />Director." <br /> <br />Mr. Saunders reminded that we always want to have an assistant. <br /> <br />Mr. Crawford stated he would be:very happy to have Mr. Dille for <br />an assistant or be an assistant to him in being responsible for the <br />Minutes. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Saunders moved that we elect Mr. Dille as Assistant Sacretary <br />and Jillr. Crawford as Secretary. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded and unanimously carried. <br />
