C. concurred in the <br />memorial passed by the Association at their annual meeting <br />in Long Beach, to the end that some large reclamation <br />. project in the State of Colorado be named after the late <br />Clifford H. Stone. The Board specifcally adopted a <br />resolution that the president appoint a committee to <br />draft a bill for Congress, naming the reservoir behind <br />Granby Dam "Lake Clifford H. Stone." <br />President Peterson appointed J. H. Moeur of Arizona <br />N. V. Sharp of Idaho and H. H. Christy of Colorado as a <br />committee to carry out the instruction of the Board. I <br />was designated chairman of this co~~ittee. <br />I am attaching a copy of the proposed bill, prepared <br />by William Welch, secretary of the Association. I am also <br />attaching copy of a letter dated Feb. 17, 1953, from Fred <br />G. Aandahl to Senator Millikin. I discussed tnis matter <br />
