However, <br />there is a need to use depletion schedules for long-range planning and power-rate studies on <br />a continuing basis. The Upper Division States, through the Commission, recognize this <br />ongoing need and have been actively reviewing and revising estimates of future uses of <br />Colorado River water in their respective States. These reviews have been completed <br />utilizing the moSt recent information on future \vater, power and energy developments. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Upper Division States depletion schedules were re\<ised in July 1994 and also revised <br />unofficially in 1996. The Upper Colorado River Commission at its December IS, 1999 <br />meeting passed a resolution not objecting to the use of the January 2000 Slates' depletions <br />schedule for planning and water supply studies as appropriate.
