Non-CWCB members may review the legislation on <br />line at www.state.co.us/gOV dirlstateleg.html. <br /> <br />We expect several more bills that will be of interest to you to be introduced this week and next. We will <br />amend this list and bring copies of newly introduced bills to the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />, SB 02-045 <br /> <br />Entz I Rippy <br /> <br />Elections for Irrigation Districts - Coordinates provisions <br />regarding the qualifications of electors to agricultural districts. <br />Lowers the voting age to 18 and limits electors to agricultural and' <br />owners within the irrigation district. This was one of three interim <br />water committee recommendations <br />CWCB Board Membership - Adds another member to the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board from the South Platte <br />Drainage (above the Henderson Gauge). <br /> <br />CWCB Per Diem - Give the appointed members of the CWCB <br />board not otherwise in full-time employment of the State a per <br />diem allowance of $50 for each day actually and necessarily spent <br />in the dischar e of official duties. <br />Continued Funding for Native Species - Appropriates $10 <br />million for the State General Fund for additional revenue to the <br />current Native Species Trust Fund.
