<br />-7- <br /> <br />plans for the use of the acquired water, subject to outlined conditions as <br />follows: 1. The requested authority to approve temporary acquisitions will <br />expire December 31, 2002; 2. All temporary acquisitions approved by the <br />Director must comply with the State Engineer's Policy regarding substitute <br />supply plans (Policy 2002-02), including provisions for State Engineer's <br />Office approval, notification and non. injury; 3. All uses of the temporarily <br />acquired water by the Board will terminate on December 31, 2002; 4. <br />Temporary acquisitions will not be considered for streams where the Board <br />does not currently hold an instream flow water right; 5. Temporary <br />acquisitions will not exceed the amount previously determined by the Board <br />to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree; 6. Staff will advise <br />the Board at the earliest opportunity of all temporary acquisitions approved by <br />the Director pursuant to this authority only effective due to drought conditions <br />and as drought conditions continue to exist in the year 2002. The motion was <br />seconded by Eric Wilkinson and approved 9-0. The motion was seconded by <br />David Smith and approved 9-0. <br /> <br />25.
