<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since such appraisal was made, the lands so appraised <br />have been designated and zoned by the proper local authorities as being <br />within the flood plain of the South Platte River, thereby limiting the <br />use of said lands and decreasing the value thereof to more than offset <br />any increase in value which has occurred since the appraisal was made: <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board believes that <br />the appraisals made by the Frederick R. Ross Company are equal to or <br />exceed the fair market value of the lands which must be acquired as a <br />part of the Chatfield Flood Control Project, and therefore the Board <br />believes that the appraisals constitute just compensation for the lands <br />to be acquired: <br /> <br />MOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at Denver, Colorado <br />this 18th day of January, 1973, that the Board does her-eby approve the <br />appraisals prepared by the Frederick R. Ross Company on the lands along <br />the South Platte channel below the Chatfield Dam to be acquired as a <br />part of the Chatfield Flood Control Project, and the Board does further <br />reasonably believe that such appraisals constitute just compensation <br />for the lands so appraised and to be acquired; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the nirector of said Board is <br />hereby directed and authorized to offer to purchase and to purchase the <br />following numbered parcels of land situ~ted in Arapahoe County, Colorado <br />which are required to complete the authorized channel ~ork on the South <br />~latte River for approximately seven miles in~,ediately below the <br />Chatfield Dam, at the appraised purchase price indicated hereinafter <br />for each parcel together with damages to the rem~inder, if any, to-wit: <br /> <br />Parcel roo 8 Owner of Record: Mrs. Earl C.
