Reservoir Evaporation. A standard Class A evaporation

pan will be operated by the Resexvoir Superintendent as a part of tbe

project weather observation station. The evaporation pan is normally

operated between May 1 and September 30 each year dependent upon local

temperature conditions. The daily reservoir evaporation rate will be

determined by applying an appropriate coefficient to the daily pan

.-"_.
readings. This evaporation rate will be applied at all times while
the pan is in operation. Daily reservoir evaporation rates during
periods when the pan is inoperative will be determined from a table of
average evaporation rates. The two basic evaporation tables (winter
and sUlllIller) will be jointly prepared by the State Engineer and the
Government and may be revised by mutual agreement of both. parties.
Article 8. computation of Reservoir Data.
a. Current
elevation-storage capacity tables will be supplied to the Reservoir
Superintendent and the State Engineer by the Government. The Reservo

.,-""

-8-
