1. July 1 - at elevation 6,068 feet with live storage content
of 1,452,000 acre-feet.

2. Should rise in 1975 to 6,073 feet with a live storage
content of 1,520,000 acre-feet. Held above elevation
6,040 until December 1 for recreational purposes.

F. Lake Mead

1. July 1 at elevation 1~174 feet with available storage of
19.4 MAF. .

a. 74 percent of active storage.

b. Reservoir is about 5 feet higher than a year ago.

2. Should rise to elevation 1,185 feet by September 30, 1975
because P.L. 90-537 criteria releases at Glen Canyon Dam
will exceed lower basin water requirements.

III. Construction activities

A. Good progress at Crystal Dam

1. Excavation completed for the keyways of the dam and the
powerplant area, June 1974.

2. Placed the first concrete of the 1975 season in the power-
plant on April 17, 1975.

a. About 59,000 cubic yards of concrete have been placed
in the dam by June 1975. The highest block is 50
feet above the old streambed and 150 feet above the
foundation excavation with the remaining blocks
slightly less. The dam concrete placement is 30%
complete.

The powerplant concrete foundation work was 100%
complete by June 1975. The remainder of the powerplant
structural concrete work is 30% finished with 12,300
cubic yards in place.
