Power Marketi~ <br /> <br />A. Revenues <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Colorado River Storage Project presently forecasting revenues <br />of about $43 million - FY 1975. Approximately $9 million <br />come from sale of storage project power in State of Colorado. <br />Net revenues - $10 million approximately. <br /> <br />B. Colorado customers <br /> <br />Storage project customers in Colorado are entitled to storage <br />project power in amounts of 311,005 kw in summer season and <br />326,460 kw in winter season, or about 35% of total power <br />presently under contract. <br /> <br />C. Other sales <br /> <br />In addition to normal firm sales, storage project involved <br />in sale of kilowatts as peaking power and oil displacement <br />sales. <br /> <br />D. Energy conservation <br /> <br />Ongoing energy conservation program has had excellent results <br />in reducing energy use by the project, primarily in reducing <br />substation lighting. Maintaining a level of energy use in <br />all activities lower than corresponding period three years <br />ago. <br /> <br />E. Operations <br /> <br />On January 1, 1975, storage project entered inland power pool <br />which includes Colorado-Ute, Public Service Company of Colo- <br />rado, Platte River Power Authority and Tri-State G & T - all <br />Colorado based entities - for mutual stand to improve system <br />operation. <br /> <br />Rates <br /> <br />F. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Federal register document No. 75-13320 dated May 21, 1975, <br />pp 22156 and 22157 gave public notice of proposed procedures <br />to be used in power rate adjustments for the Department of <br />Interior. Comments on proposed procedures to be submitted in <br />writing before June 20, 1975. <br /> <br />Federal Register Document 75-15534 dated June 16, 1975, pp <br />22499 and 22500 stated that proposed procedures apply only to <br /> <br />-9- <br />
