<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Applical/on of Town of Avon <br />December 30, 2005 <br /> <br />Calendar Period <br />May I-July 20 <br /> <br />Flow (cfs) <br />350 cfs Conditional <br /> <br />Level Three Flows. for advanced and competitive kavaking <br /> <br />Calendar Period <br />May 25-July 7 <br /> <br />Flow (cfs) <br />1,400 cfs Conditional (limited to eight 12-hour days) <br /> <br />The claimed flows are for between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for all tluee <br />levels of flow. Level Three flows are claimed for a total of eight twelve-hour days during the <br />calendar period claimed for Level Three, the specific dates to be determined by Applicant by <br />giving notice to the Division Engineer no less than thirty days in advance of the first d1ate each <br />year. Level One and Level Two Flows are claimed for the designated twelve hours each day <br />during the calendar periods claimed for each Level. At Level One rate of flow Baby Bob is <br />operating. At Level Two rate of flow Bob, Jr. and Baby Bob are each operating. At Level Tluee <br />rate of flow Bob, Sr. begins to operate. Amounts claimed are the minimum amounts necessary to <br />provide the designated reasonable recreational experience during each of the above calendar <br />periods. <br /> <br />7. Beneficial Uses: Recreational uses in and on the Eagle River in connection with the <br />Avon Whitewater Course, including, without limitation, boat passage, kayaking, and rafting. <br /> <br />8. Name(s) and addressees) of owner(s) or reputed owner(s) of the land upon which <br />any new diversion or storage structure, or modification to any e:xisting diversion or storage <br />structure is or will be constructed: Town of Avon and Vail Resorts, Inc. Town of Avon either <br />owns the land or owns an easement for construction, maintenance, repair and replacement of any <br />structure in the Course and for access for boat launching, passage, and for public viewing. <br /> <br />9. Remarks: This application is made pursuant to C.R.S. ~~ 37-92-103(4), (7) and (10.3) <br />and C.R.S. ~ 37-92-305(9)(b). The Town of Avon is a municipality incorporated in the State of <br />Colorado. Pursuant to C.R.S. ~37-92-]02(5) within 30 days of filing this application, Applicant <br />will submit a copy of the application to the Colorado Water Conservation Board ("CWCB") for <br />review. <br /> <br />Page) of 6 <br />
