I <br /> <br /> <br />recognize that the staff is limited, travel funds are small, <br /> <br /> <br />but it just seems to me I see more and more confrontation <br /> <br /> <br />of the Division Engineer acting in consultation with the <br /> <br /> <br />Referee and the Attorney General, who is trying to get the <br /> <br /> <br />decrees adjudicated in terms of what are realistic amounts, <br /> <br />what are actual locations, just what some of the problems <br /> <br />really are. <br /> <br />And it seems to me a lot of that could be eliminated <br /> <br /> <br />in the hearing if in fact these things could be walked <br /> <br /> <br />past the Division Engineer, the Water Commissioner, the <br /> <br /> <br />staff members and the Water Commissioner and Division <br />Engineer take a look at these things. <br /> <br />I have five letters from my Division Engineers here <br /> <br />pointing out problems with about, I'd say, 80 of the rights <br /> <br />that are suggested in this list. Nothing major. No big <br /> <br />problems. But they're the sorts of things that the Referees <br /> <br />are very interested in when it comes to adjudication. <br /> <br />And if we can do something along those lines, I think <br />it would be useful. <br /> <br />Third comment would be, Dennis, I guess this would be <br />
