I

I

It is now twenty-five of twelve. We want to leave for Chatfield at
no later than a~ a quarter of one. I think we haven't scratched
the surface of th~ problem. Mr. Balcomb is certainly entitled to
it and we want to hear from him. There are others. Rocky Mountain
Power Company might want to speak. And I certainly don't want to
be the only one that asks questions. If I am the only one that
doesn't understand the ramifications, I will try to learn about it
elsewhere. But I think there will be some further discussion and I
would like to have the board's pleasure as to whether or not - how
long is the speech this afternoon, an hour?

Mr. Sparks: I think the whole ceremony will be over by three o'clock,
but that is not really the problem. It is getting out there. If we
have any great amount of traffic, we may be there until five o'clock.

Mr. Ten Evck: I had the recollection from somewhere that it was an
hour and a half. I am sorry about that.

Mr. Stapleton: I am sorry about it too:

Mr. Ten Evck: I thought I saw that in the newspaper last night when
they discussed Agnew's visit.

Mr. Stapleton: Can I get some feedback from the members of the board
as to what they would like?

Mr. Geissinqer: I don't think we are going to be able to finish this
today and go out to the Chatfield.

Mr. Kroeqer: I would like to ask a question or two regarding this.
One, we are asked to make this decision at the request of the
Governor as the state's official position in regard to this area G.
Is that right?

Mr. Ten Evck: I don't think so.

Mr. Sparks: The Governor has already made it.

Mr. Stapleton:
people can take
that right?

If the Governor has made it, he is the last.
up their problems with the Governor's office.

These
Isn't

Mr. Ten Evck:

It is a possibility.

Mr. Kroeqer: The second question is, Whatever our decision might be,
what part does this play with the bill as it is now in the Senate?

-23-
