Mr. Kroeger asked <br /> <br />for comments from the audience. <br />~ <br />Mr. Rod Ktharich of Colorado Springs offered to comment. He <br /> <br />stated that in the filings Ein El Paso County, Dead Man and Kent <br /> <br />Creeks are intermittent streams and had no water in them for most <br /> <br />of the year. He also commented concerning the upper reaches of <br /> <br />Monument Creek which he suggests has an important contribution from <br /> <br />the xxxkxxE8Xxarcos, the Dawson, the Denver and the Arapahoe arcos. <br /> <br />Mr. Tommy Thomson of the Southeaatern Water Conservancy <br /> <br />District indicated that he had not had time to review the proposals <br />rn~~ <br />in dKaffe, Fremont, Custer and El Paso Counties but observed that <br />------ <br /> <br />he had always been able to work _x on agreeable stipulations with <br /> <br />the Board in the past. He offered no objections to preliminary <br /> <br />passage. There was discus~on of the general level of review lead- <br /> <br />ing to preliminary recommendation and the more detailed and ex- <br /> <br />tensivex review which is undertaken before final recommendation. <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald moved adoption of the Preliminary List. Seconded <br /> <br />by Mr. Getz. The vote was unanimous in favor. <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman, Kroeger, then called on Mr. McDonald to cover <br /> <br />additional legislati~e items. Mr. McDonald first commented on <br /> <br />Senate bil167 proposed by Senator Anderson covering 14 projects <br /> <br />recommended by the Board for construction.
