WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said
revised information and data and does hereby recommend to the
Colorado Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and
approve as floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year
flood (intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater
surface elevations and profiles in said new report, and further
recommends that the floodplain designation for Bear Creek, as
approved by the resolution adopted January 18, 1973, be rescinded;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water
Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado,
this 17th day of March, 1980, that it does hereby designate and
approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being inun-
dated by a 100-year flood as described by the floodwater surface
elevations and profiles in said new report for Bear Creek and does
hereby rescind the resolution dated January 18, 1973; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board
is directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the
City and county of Denver, the City of Sheridan, the City of
Lakewood, The Board of county Commissioners of Jefferson County,
the urban Drainage and Flood Control District, the United States
Army Corps of Engineers; and the Federal Insurance Administration.
