Mr. Stapleton: Well, I think we ought to ask questions now while
they are fresh in everybody's minds and before they collapse from the
heat. Let's have some questions on the first part of the presentation.

Mr. Kroeqer: Robie, you mentioned the Free Enterprise area. They I
contemplate a population of 40,000 people, but I notice you only have
3,000 acre-feet of water. Is that quite adequate?

Mr. Robins: This is what they requested. It might be something like
4 or 5,000 when they get through. We are working into our plan a
pumping plant for municipal and industrial water. We prOpose to
develop it in stages which we think will fit in well- under the Water
Supply Act of 1958. We would contruct originally basic facilities
for the pumps. Then we could add units, in five years, ten years,
or twenty years, however the population develops out there.

Mr. Kroeqer: I think my question is, How many people will 3,000 acre-
feet support?

~tr. Robins: Well, first I need to back up. a minute on this. They
have purchased some water rights of their own.

Mr. Kroeqer: This is supplemental, then?

Mr. Robins: This is more like supplemental. We are thinking about
4.000 acre-feet of the project water, in addition to the water rights
that they have purchased. Normally, we figure about a third of an
acre foot per year per person. This is all being handled' jointly with
the Tri-County Water Conservancy District. They \~ll be our contract-
ing entity and they will buiid the distribution facilities. Any other
questions?

Mr. Kuiper: Yes, Robie. have they filed their subdivision plans with
the County Planning Division?

Mr. Robins: I don't know.

Mr. Ford: I doubt it very much.
