RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
FOR
DALE F. GRANT

WHEREAS, Dale F. Grant was appointed a member of the
Colorado Water Conservation Board by Governor Richard D. Lamm on
December 7, 1981, to represent the main Colorado River drainage
basin; and

WHEREAS, Dale F. Grant has served ably on the Board and
displayed a keen and dedicated interest in the planning and
development of water resources in the main Colorado River drain-
age basin and throughout the State; and

WHEREAS, Dale F. Grant, through his affiliation with and
membership on the Colorado River Water Conservation District, the
Eagle County Board of Commissioners, and the Northwest Council of
Governments has demonstrated an understanding of the importance
of protecting the State's water resouces.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Colorado Water
Conservation Board hereby acknowledges Dale F. Grant's contribu-
tions to the Colorado Water Conservation Board and the State of
Colorado and expresses its gratitude' and appreciation for his
service in the cause of developing Colorado's water resources.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director and Secretary of
the Colorado Water Conservation Board is hereby directed to
transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to Mr. Dale F. Grant
as a token of the Board's esteem for its former colleague.

CERTIFICATE

I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of
a resolution adopted by a unanimous vote of the members of the
Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at
Denver, Colorado, on the 3rd day of November, 1983, at which a
quorum was present.
