Our team has been discussing how to deal <br />with Colorado River Delta issues and we have participated in the Colorado River Delta tour sponsored by <br />the Southern Nevada Water Authority and the recent symposium in Mexicali, The state's Colorado River <br />Advisory Council has also been engaged in discussions of the Delta issues, <br /> <br />Currently, the lBWC is engaged in technical discussions with Mexico and it may become necessary for <br />Colorado to become more deeply involved in those discussions in order to protect our interests in <br />Colorado River water, <br /> <br />Hudl!et aud Schedule <br /> <br />The final budget and schedule of activities is unknown and will be dependent on activities of Interior, <br />State and the lBWC, <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the CWCB request the General Assembly authorize $100,000 from the CWCB <br />Construction Fund to be appropriated to the CWCB to be expended to allow Colorado's representatives <br />to participate in activities associated with attempts to deliver additional water to the Colorado River <br />Delta in Mexico, <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />
