Our Basin Planning Fact Sheets were transferred from a pdf format into web pages. These revamped fact sheets
are now more interactive, providing links to the various agenqies sited as data sources, and other sites that
provide more information on endangered species, compact agj'eements, and water conservancy and conservation

In 1993, the General Assembly authorized the CWCB tiJ "assemble and make available to water users

in Colorado a consolidated water resources information center."

Beginning in 2001, the decades of historic a! documents,;case files, floodplain maps and other
information that were intended to comprise the WRIC ~ere moved from a storage space to new office
space next to the Colorado Water Congress office at 15~0 Logan in Denver. There they are being
cataloged, imaged and otherwise available for public us~. The next step will be to make this
information available via the Internet and in a walk-in c~nter. The funds requested were intended to
cover on-going operating costs for four-years, purchase office furniture and equipment and to image
documents that will be made available to the public via Internet.
