There are <br />several problems with these recovery goals, including: <br /> <br />I. Downlisting and deli sting in the Upper ColoradO River basin is still linked to activities in the San <br />Juan basin and lower basin. <br /> <br />2. Due to a number of conservative assumptions made by Valdez and Ryel, downlisting of the <br />bony tail and razorback cannot occur for 20 years, and delisting cannot occur for 30 years., if all goes <br />well for the species during this period.
