Jim Ingles."

"Thank you. Mr. Chairman, members of the
Board, gentlemen, ladies, this is our report
on Region 7, Bureau of Reclamation, activi-
ties in Colorado during the six months period.
November 1968 through April 1969.

First is the Upper South Platte Unit,
Missouri River Basin Project. In November,
economists and engineers of Region 7 met
with officials of the Forest Service to
discuss road requirements to the Forest
Service's proposed recreation complex near
Nighthawk Hill. Agr-eement was reached on the
road standards and cost estimates were pre-'
pared. The estimates are now being reviewed
by the Office of the Chief Engineer.

Data are being compiled on which to
base forecasts of the peak visitation at
Two Forks Dam and Powerplant.

An analysis has been made of the economic
effects on the various project functions of
including visitor center facilities at Two
Forks Dam. That analysis has been submitted
to higher authority for decision on the de-
sired scope of development.

I

On the Narrows Unit, also in the Missouri
River Basin Project, on November 25 field
hearings were held at Fort Morgan. Colorado.
