plan and the Chief Engineer is now reviewing
the designs and estimates on that in Denver.

On April 28 and 29 representatives of
the Corps of Engineers, the Bureau of Recla-
mation, and the Colorado Game, Fish and Parks I
Division, met in Gunnison to evaluate the ice ..
jam flooding problems on the Gunnison River
above Blue Mesa Reservoir. We did come up
with a tentative plan there to be developed
by the corps of Engineers on what they call
a 'clearing and snagging program', an emer-
gency program to try to make a better channel
there to carry the flows and still be com-
patible with fish habitat. It appears that
the Corps of Engineers will be able to get
some work done on that this summer. We hope
before the winter ice jams come again we'll
have a pretty good channel there to work
with.

That finishes our report, ~. Chairman.
Thank you very much."

MR.. KROEGER:

"Thank you, Robie. Wait just a minute
and see if there are any questions, will
you please? Any from the Board? Are there
any questions from the audience?"

MR. BUNGER:

"I'd like to know where this water

"

MR.. KROEGER:

"Mr. Bunger. will you come forward and
take a microphone, please?"

MR.
