The motion was seconded by Don Schwindt. After further discussion, <br />the motion was amended by Eric Wilkinson, and seconded by Don Schwindt, to <br />indicate that staff should pUrsue means either through the Section 1135 process, <br />or other administrative, or other legislative means. All Board members were <br />present, and the motion was approved unanimously (10-0). <br /> <br />15a. Water Supply Protection - Aspinall EIS - No Action Alternative Discussion <br />Tape 2, Track I 01:35:38-03:16:19 <br />Action: A motion was made by Harold Miskel, and seconded by Eric Wilkinson for the <br />Board to approve the September 2005 documents submitted to them by the <br />Bureau of Reclamation, and to direct staff to continue to work with Reclamation <br />toward including those comments into the Aspinal EIS - No Action Alternative. <br />After further discussion, the motion was amended by Harold Miskel, and <br />seconded by Eric Wilkinson to only include that this Board ratify what staffhas <br />previously done and the comments that have been previously been submitted to <br />Reclamation in May and August, and to approve the document that was now <br />before them, dated September 2005 provided by the Bureau of Reclamation, and <br />to direct staff to continue to work with the Bureau, and to have those comments <br />included in the Aspinall EIS - No Action Alternative. The amended motion was <br />approved (8-2), with Tom Sharp and John Redifer voting against the amended <br />motion. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />17.
