At this time the <br />staff recommendation on the application from the Town of Paonia is denied. <br />Approved 9-0. Bob Burr was not present. The Board encouraged the Town <br />of Paonia to review it's application and return for possible consideration at a <br />future meeting. <br /> <br />21a. Water Supply Planning and Finance - En-bloc- Non-reimbursable Investment <br />Recommendations - CWCB/Division of Water Resources Satellite Monitoring System. <br />Tape 4, Track 3, 0000- <br />Action: A motion was made by Greg Hoskin with a second by Carolyn McIntosh for <br />staff recommendation that the Board request the General Assembly authorize <br />$231,000 from the Construction Fund to be appropriated to the CWCB for <br />flood forecasting and warning, instream flow monitoring, compact protection, <br />and decision support system data collection efforts; $100,000 for stream gage <br />flood hardening projects; and $303,000 from the Construction fund to be <br />appropriated to the Department of Natural Resources for allocation to the <br />Division of Water Resources to enhance, renovate, and replace the Data <br />Collection Platforms in the existing satellite monitoring system. The total cost <br />of this joint gaging effort is $634,000. Approved 8-0. Greg Walcher and Bob <br />Burr were not present. <br /> <br />21b.
