<br />Colorado A~icultural Ditch Companv - Diversion Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />HB 95-1155 authorized the Colorado Agricultural Ditch Company, located in Adams County, a <br />$60,000 loan to rehabilitate their diversion structure on Clear Creek. in cooperation with the <br />Lower Clear Creek Ditch Company. The company has decided to place a special assessment on <br />the shareholders instead of fInancing the project through a CWCB loan. A letter dated September <br />23, 1996 from Mary Kay Brengosz, Secretary of the Colorado Agricultural Ditch Company, <br />requesting the deauthorization has been received. <br /> <br />Buckeye Lateral Ditch Association Inc. - Buckeye Lateral Ditch Rehabilitation <br /> <br />HB 95-1155 authorized the Buckeye Lateral Ditch Association a $440,000 loan to rehabilitate the <br />Buckeye Lateral Ditch located in Larimer County. The company reported that it is not in a <br />fInancial position to put in the pipeline at this time. One of their largest water users on the ditch, <br />Piedmont Fanus, has had three bad years in a row. Frost in 1994 and 1995 and hail in 1996 has <br />been devastating to their vegetable crops.
