Dan Law, Director of the CWR&PDA, reported on the status of their water pollution
control revolving loan fund. The Authority has received a $90 million grant to fund
the program. Law answered questions by Harrison and Simpson.

8c. Matters in Litigation, Taylor Park Reservoir Second Fill Appeal - Oral Arguments

Steve Sims, AG staff, briefed the Board on the oral argument before the Colorado
Supreme Court in the subject case.

b. Membership (added)

Sara Duncan reviewed Board member composition requirements as set forth in SB
92-87 and answered a question by Evans.

c. Annual Report (added)

Sara Duncan commented that the CWCB Annual Report will be due in the
Legislature by December 1. The staff will need to coordinate construction fund
applications at the November meeting. Comments were made by Eisel, Lochhead,
Harrison, and Smith.

d. Sanchez Reservoir (added)

Sara Duncan reviewed an amendment that added emergency repairs for Sanchez
Reservoir to SB 92-87 and basic information about the dam. Larry Lang and
Keith Eberhardt, CWCB staff members, showed slides of the dam and its inlet
diversion canal. Eberhardt presented the results of the drilling and grouting
program. Hal Simpson, Acting State Engineer, reviewed other options if the
grouting program is not successful. Harrison asked a question about the outlet
capacity.
