Endangered Fish RecoveI}' Team Report (2:33 - 2:50 p.m.) <br /> <br />Sue Uppendahl, CWCB staff, presented a 15 minute narrated slide show entitled <br />"Swimming Upstream: The Endangered Fish of the Colorado River." This agenda item <br />was interrupted so that representatives of the Fish and Wildlife Service who were <br />scheduled for 3:00 p.m. would be present. <br /> <br />16a. Review of SB 87., Clinton Reservoir (added) (2:50.3:00 p.m.) <br /> <br />Sara Duncan reported on the current status of the Summit and Grand County <br />agreements with the Denver Water Department. Eric Kuhn, Colorado River WCD, <br />explained the issues, history, and provisions of the agreements. Questions were asked <br />by Duncan. No action was taken. <br /> <br />12. ISF /Habitat Protection Issues <br /> <br />Peter Evans, Legal Counsel to DNR, reviewed how the project is organized. Sue <br />Uppendahl, CWCB staff, commented that a scientist had been selected. Evans <br />continued to discuss DNR concerns including the condition of the fish, the issue of the <br />definition of "sufficient progress," the use of measures other than flow, and Section 7 <br />consultation on historic projects. Tom Nesler, DOW, gave a slide presentation on the <br />status of the four endangered fish in the entire Colorado River basin and discussed the <br />role of flow in the fish recovery process.
