This project is the result of the State Engineer's order to increase the spillway capacity of
the Lefthand Valley Reservoir in order to comply with darn safety rules and regulations regarding
downstream structures, The project indudes the replacement of the current spillway with a larger
roIler compacted concrete spillway and stiIling basin, Design engineering and Rocky Mountain
Consultants of Longrnont, Colorado completed the permitting process, Due to unexpectedly high
bid prices in 1997, the Company requested and was successful in their application for additional
project funds from the Board at the November Board meeting, The project has been re-scheduled
for a September 1998 construction commencement.

This project is an extension of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District's
Southern Pipeline Project. The pipeline extension wiIl provide high quality western slope water to
the City of Fort Morgan for their municipal use. The project design, from the Hudson/Ft. Lupt,m
extension at Plattevi!l~', to the Fort Morgan area, is 99% complete with the construction bid process
underway with bids to be accepted until July I, 1998, Project construction is scheduled to
commence in September 1998 with completion scheduled for January 2000,

of Lamar, Wright Water Engineers of Denver, Colorado completed project design, Project
construction was scheduled to commence November 1, 1997, with project completion scheduled e
for spring 1998, A bid exceeding the project budget caused the Company to request supplemental
project funds from the Board at the November Board meeting, This successful request has resulted
in the project being re-scheduled for an October 1998 construction commencement,
