Drainage and Flood Control Master Plan dated April 1992 <br />was prepared by Wright Water Engineers, rnc, under contract with the D,S, Department of <br />Engergy, This report contains detailed floodplain information for several tributaries in the Big <br />Dry Creek watershed located in northwestern Jefferson County, This report represents the most <br />complete floodplain information for the federal land known as Rocky Flats, <br /> <br />2, FPR 99-504: Town of Severance. Flood Insurance Study (FIS) dated September 1999 was <br />prepared by FEMA and includes detailed floodplain information for a flooding source known as <br />the "Slough", The Corps of Engineers (Omaha District) performed the engineering analyses, <br />under contract with FEMA, using CWCB survey data, The 1999 FrS supersedes all previous <br />floodplain information for the community, ' <br /> <br />3, FPR 99-505: Jefferson County. Flood Insurance Study (FIS) dated July 4, 1989 was <br />prepared by FEMA and includes detailed and approximate floodplain information for <br />unincorporated portions of Jefferson County, The floodplain delineations for the County do not <br />extend into federally owned lands, which is FEMA's standard procedure, This FrS represents <br />the most current regulatory floodplain information for the county, however there have been <br />substantial development activities and physical changes to some of the floodplain areas, An <br />update to the FrS is needed and has been requested by County officials, <br /> <br />. <br />
