MS. ORTEGA: Good. We need your support.

MR. SPARKS:

We are in it.

MR. KROEGER:
of any kind?

Okay, is there any other new business or any other business
(NO response.)

We would like, if possible, to firm up the date for the May meeting. 1
It is tentatively set for May 16 in Grand Junction, and we are to
review the Grand Valley Project work that is being done there. Are
there any objections to that date? This is the third Wednesday, and
I think somebody did have problems. That is you, isn't it, Pat?

MR. GORMLEY: Is that the third or second?

MR. KROEGER: Can we pick another day that would be more satisfactory?

MR. GORMLEY: could it be closer to a weekend, if you are going to be
out of Denver?

MR. FETCHER: Mr. Chairman, you wouldn't consider the very early part
of June rather than May, would you? It is a little tough for some of us
farmers, especially with the runoff we are going to have this year.

MR. KROEGER: I understood all the runoff was down in the San Juan Basin,
John. I didn't know you had it too.

MR. FETCHER: 'It's hard to get in my house right now.

MR. KROEGER: I can get in my house, but I'm afraid to, because I don't
know when the roof is coming down.

What are your desires, gentlemen?

MR. FETCHER: It just depends on what the rest of the Board wants to do.
May is possible. May is a difficult month, however.

MR. SPARKS: How about May 23?
MR. KROEGER: May 23 is one week later.

MR. FETCHER: That is possible.

Is May 23 all right with you, Pat?

MR. GORMLEY: Just so it isn't the third Wednesday. And there is the 1
question of whether being closer to the weekend would be better for
people traveling, you know, from around the state, instead of being in
Denver. That would be the only question.

MR. SPARKS: would you rather have it on a Friday? It doesn't make any
difference to me.

MR. FETCHER: That might be better, or would it be better the middle of
the week?

-38-
