Consorvol;O(' :;,,;: <br /> <br />Mr. McAulliffe, <br /> <br />This letter is to ask you to accept the proposal for instream Flows on <br />the San Miguel River as presented by The CDOW and BLM. <br /> <br />Their flow specific flow recommendations are needed to maintain the <br />ecosystem in a healthy state. . <br /> <br />I have been a landowner in San Miguel County for 21 years and <br />began and operated a guide service for rafting and flyfishing for 12 <br />years. My observations of the river with it's vulnerability to low flows <br />in the form of anchor ice in the Winter and very high temperatures in <br />the summer which destroy significant a:mounts of the biomass, bugs, _ <br />fish and smallllfe forms.' _ <br /> <br />Please support the proposal with flows as presented. <br />Your help is appreciated, <br /> <br /> <br />William C.
