The Foundation is <br />currently under contract to build the next section of concrete path along Big Dry Creek at <br />its confluence with the South p,latte River. This section of trail improvements should be <br />incorporated into the District's existing recreation easement with eWeB. <br /> <br />CWcB property will be involved in the plan to connect Big Dry Crllek Trail to the west <br />side of the river, Le" to the Mary Carter Greenway Trail. This connection involves a 10 <br />foot wide, 200 foot pedestrian bridge. Initial engineering has elimir..ated the, need for a <br />center pier, therefore plans are to free-span a distance of 200 feet, bunk-to-bank, In <br />addition, there will be approximately 100 feet of 10 foot wide concrete trail installed on <br />the east bank of the dver, again inside CWCB property. On the we!lt bank ,)fthe river we <br />will be modifYing the existing concrete path to accommodate approaches tel the <br />pedestrian bridge, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Please note that RBI. Inc. is currently under contract for the construction of the concrete <br />path for the east sidel of the river. Could I possibly receive your vel'blil authorization to <br />install the 100 feet Clfpathway. possibly as early as the week ofNovcmbcr 131 Your <br />understanding and assistance with this request would be gratefully apprecillted, <br /> <br />'-..r <br /> <br />Enclosed is a plan produced by McLaughlin Water Engineers.
