<br />262 <br /> <br />"After due consideration~ it was moved, srconded and carried unani- <br />mously that because of the fact the matter has progressed so far, this Board <br />feels it should inte~pose no objection to the proposed diversion, but with the <br />clear and distinct understanding this consent shall not be considered as waiver <br />of objections to any other federally financed trans-mountain diversion of the <br />waters of the Colorado River; and with the further understanding that the State <br />Water Conservation Board of the State of Colorado shall not approve of any I~,.' <br />other such federally financed diversion project until the studies of the needs <br />of the Western Slope be fully completed so that an intelligent decision rela- <br />tive to such needs may be given. Sexton" <br /> <br /><if- <br /> <br />The Colorado River Water Conservation District Board, as shoven by its <br />resolution which has been placed in the record of this meeting, requests the <br />Co16rado Water Conservation Board to amend Article IV of the report of the <br />Policy and Review Committee by the insertion of certain language which is <br />underscored for identification. It is understood that such inserted and addi- <br />tional language, identified by underscoring, ,viII be shown in ihe resolution <br />of the Colorado River Water Conservation Districi Board as inserted in this <br />record. <br /> <br />It was moved by Judge Dan H. Hughes and seconded by C. J. <br />McCormick that'the resolution submitted by the Colorado Rive~ <br />Water Conservation District be accepted and approved as a policy <br />of the Colorado ~ater Conservation Board. on vote being taken, <br />the motion unanimously carried and was declared adopted. <br /> <br />It was moved by Dan B. Hunter and seconded by John ~. Cross, <br />that the resolution su15mitted by the Southwestern Water Conservation <br />~strict be accepted and approved as a policy of the Colorado Kater <br />Conservation Board.
