Law, Executive Director <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Director's Report <br /> <br />Water Pollution Control Revolvinl!: Fund <br /> <br />For 2004 the loan capacity is estimated at $90 million. The cities of Englewood and Littleton <br />submitted loan applications in December totaling $102 million for improvements to their jointly- <br />owned wastewater treatment plant. In January the Board approved $60 million in Clean Water <br />loans and $42 million in Water Revenue loans divided equally between the two cities. Loans to <br />the town ofWalsenburg ($2.8 million) and the city of Westminster ($30 million) were approved <br />at the March 5 meeting. Additional loans to Roxborough Park Metro District ($10 million) and <br />Glendale ($9 million) may be considered later this year. <br /> <br />The Department of Public Health and Environment, the Department of Local Affairs and the <br />Authority executed a new Memorandum of Agreement, governing the operation of the WPCRF <br />program, on March 5. <br /> <br />At the December 5 meeting, the Board set the 2004 direct loan rate (loans under $1 million) for <br />the WPCRF program at 3.5%. <br /> <br />Drinkinl!: Water Revolvinl!: Fund <br /> <br />For 2004 the loan capacity is estimated at $40 million. At this time loan demand is not expected <br />to exceed capacity. On March 5 the Board authorized a loan ($0.67 million) to the town of <br />Swink. Later this year Cottonwood Water and Sanitation District may apply for a $10 million <br />loan to upgrade its water treatment plant. <br /> <br />The Department of Public Health and Environment, the Department of Local Affairs and the <br />Authority executed a new Memorandum of Agreement, governing the operation of the DWRF <br />and Set-Aside activities, on March 5. <br /> <br />At the December 5 meeting, the Board set the 2004 direct loan rate (loans under $1 million) for <br />the DWRF program at 3.5%. <br />
