specific attention should be dftvoted to the
relationship between oil shale and consumption
of water; also coal hydrogenation and consump~ion
of water and such other water subjects as interested
parties might want to bring up. Leaving a day
between, we would hold another meeting in Durango
on the 26. It was felt that the Glenwood meeting
would take cere of interest in Craig, the north
centr.al area, and Durango would take care of
interests in that part of the state. If there is
no objection on the part of the Board we will go,
ahead with this arrangement.

Any members of the Board are to feel free to
attend one or both of those meetings.

At the meeting in Durango, if you will get in
touch with me I w~ll arrange for hotel accomodations.

So far as the Committee is concerned, they have.

There are several reasons why they can't be held
earlier. During the week of the 16, 17 and 18
we have the congressional delegation, during the
previous :week we are getting back into the Labor
Day and the inability of the people from the oil
companies to attend; so the earliest possible
time is the last week in September.

Could we snag some of that congressional committee
for the meeting in Glenwood? They are going back
west again to review the Upper Colorado R;Lver.
That starts out for September 12, I believe. . They
might be all through by the 24th. Could you advance
a day or two to include them. They might want to be
in on it.
