FPR 98-479 was tabled it so that <br />the County Commissioners could meet with staff. Regarding FPR 98-480, a <br />motion was made by Patricia Wells to accept the staff recommendation for <br />approval of this Flood Insurance Study, with the understanding that the <br />Study is outdated due to the amOunt of growth in the area, and with the <br />addition that the approval of the Study be conditional, dependent upon the <br />Town of Blackhawk completing an updated Flood Insurance Study within <br />one year. The motion was seconded simultaneously by Alan Hamel, Bill <br />Brown and Bob Burr and approved unanimously (9-0). Regarding FPR 98- <br />481, a motion was made by Bob Burr to approve the staff recommendation <br />to approve and designate the Resolution. The motion was seconded by <br />David Smith and approved unanimously (9-0). FPR 98-482, as tabled so that <br />the Town of Fleming could collect more information as needed. <br /> <br />Floodplain Management - Floodplain Designation and Approvals - FPR Nos. 98-475, <br />98-476, 98-477 and 98-478 <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 3082 - 3190 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn to accept the staff recommendation and to <br />approve the standard delineation in FPR No. 475, and that the Board rescind <br />the existing floodplain delineation in FPR Nos. 476, 477 and 478. The <br />motion was seconded by Bill Brown and approved unanimously (8-0). <br />Instream Flow Program - New Appropriations - Phase III - Division 2 <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 2433 - 3028 <br />Action: This was an information item; no action taken. <br /> <br />Instream Flow Program - Proposed Injury with Mitigation/Modification - Case No. <br />5-97CW306 <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 3028 - 4415 <br />Action: A motion was made by Patricia Wells that the Board accept the staff <br />recommendation that the Board determine that the "natural environment <br />could be preserved to a reasonable degree with the proposed injury or <br />interference if the applicant provided mitigation", and to encourage the <br />applicant and staff to work together to more fully evaluate the opportunities <br />that may be afforded under Alternative 4 as described in the applicant's <br />January 19, 1999 letter.
