<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STERLING IRRIGATION COMPANY - STERLING NO.1 DIVERSION STRUCTURE <br /> <br /> <br />Looking Downstream Along the South Platte River Through the New Diversion Structure <br /> <br />Proiect Description <br /> <br />This $354,000 project is the rehabilitation of the Sterling No. 1 Ditch diversion and headgate <br />structure on the South Platte River, located approximately 5 miles soutl1west of the City of <br />Sterling. The existing 200-ft. by 4-ft. high concrete diversion wall was replaced with a lOO-ft. by <br />4.5-ft. Obermeyer pneumatic spillway gate and the intake structure was replaced with 2 - lO-ft. by <br />5-ft. high radial gates.
