The projects identified consisted of <br />the Poudre Valley Canal, Cobb Lake Pipeline and Outlet/Inlet Structures, Windsor Reservoir No. <br />8, Annex No.8 and Elder Reservoir Outlet Structure. The Poudre Valley Canal and the Cobb <br />Lake improvements have been designed and constructed. The design on Annex No.8, Windsor <br />No.8 and Elder Reservoir are currently underway, with construction planned to commence in the <br />fall of 2000. Construction may consist of I, 2 or a1l3-reservoir projects, depending on the <br />direction of the Ditch Company. <br /> <br />Pine River Canal Comoanv - Pine River Canal Rehabilitation at Tunnel Hill <br />Authorization: SB 99-173 County: La Plata - SE of Ignacio <br />Water Source: Pine River Project Yield: 71,000 acre feet <br />Terms of Loan: $243,000 @ 3.5% for 20 yrs. Project Type: Canal Rehabilitation <br /> <br />This $325,000 project is the rehabilitation of the Pine River Canal at the Tunnel Hill site, <br />located 8 miles southeast ofIgnacio. The project consists of replacing a water supply tunnel in <br />poor condition, with approximately 700 lineal feet of 72-inch diameter concrete pipe, bypassing <br />the tunnel completely. The Natural Resource Conservation Service has completed the design <br />plans with CWCB staff completing the construction bid documents. The Pine River Canal <br />Company is currently obtaining bids to complete the work, which is tentatively scheduled to <br />commence in October of2000. <br /> <br />Rvan Gulch Reservoir Comoanv - Rvan Gulch Dam Rehabilitation <br />Authorization: SB 99-173 County: Larimer - S. of Loveland <br />Water Source: Big Thompson River Project Yield: 645 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $317,500 @4.25% for 30 years Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />This project is the rehabilitation of the Ryan Gulch Dam which includes the construction <br />of a new spillway, lining the upstream face of the dam with a clay liner, sleeving the existing 24- <br />inch outlet pipe, and constructing a new upstream controlled inlet works. Boyle Engineering, <br />Inc. of Denver has completed the final design plans, which are currently under review at the State <br />Engineer's Office. Construction is tentatively scheduled to commence in June/July of2000. <br /> <br />Highland Ditch Comoanv - Foothills Reservoir Dam Rehabilitation <br />Authorization: SB 98-1198 - Severance Tax Comity: Boulder - W of Longrnont <br />Water Source: St. Vrain River Project Yield: 450 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $1,040,000 @4.0% for 30 years Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />This project is the rehabilitation of Foothills Reservoir dam, located west of Longrnont in <br />Boulder County. The dam has an inadequate spillway and severe seepage through the <br />embankment and has had a storage restriction placed on it by the State Engineer. The Highland <br />Ditch Company has contracted with Smith Geotechnical Engineering Consultants of Fort Collins <br />to analyze design alternatives and complete construction plans and specifications. Construction <br />is scheduled to commence in fall of2000 or spring of2001. <br />
