Monk commenced construction in <br />March of2000, with project completion scheduled for March of2002. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Pinon Mesa Ranches Community Association - Rural Raw Water Svstem Construction <br />Authorization: SB 97-008 County: La Plata - W oflgnacio <br />Water Source: Florida River Project Yield: 125 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $206,000 @ 3.75% for 30 yrs Project Type: Diversion and Dist. <br />System <br /> <br />This $345,000 project is the construction of a new rural raw water irrigation and <br />distribution system in La Plata County west ofIgnacio. The project consists of construction of a <br />concrete diversion structure and pump station at the Florida River, a transmission pipeline from <br />the diversion to a storage impoundment, and construction of approximately 9,000 feet of <br />distribution pipeline from the storage impoundment to the water users. RMI Environmental <br />Services of Farmington, New Mexico prepared tI1e project design. Project construction <br />commenced September 2,1997 by RMI Environmental Services of Farmington, New Mexico (a <br />designlbuild contractor). The project is currently 70% complete, with very little chance for <br />completion. Staff will commence project closure by finding the project "Incomplete" and <br />requesting payment of Interest During Construction from the Association. The loan repayment <br />process will begin with the first annual payment due June 1,2001. <br /> <br />Otero Ditch ComDanv - Diversion Structure Rehabilitation <br />Authorization: SB County: Otero - N.W. of Fowler <br />Water Source: Arkansas River Project Yield: 20,687 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $155,000 @4.0% for 30 yrs Project Type: Diversion Structure <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The Otero Ditch Company diverts water directly from the Arkansas River approximately <br />I mile northwest of the Town of Fowler. The existing diversion structure and right abutment <br />were washed out during flooding in April and May of 1999. This $620,000 project involves <br />stabilizing 2000 l.f. of streambank, the construction of a 182-ft. long concrete diversion wall, 3- <br />ft. high by II-ft. wide concrete stilling basin, and a new concrete outlet control structure with a <br />20-ft wide by 8-ft. high opening. The project was designed by the Natural Resource <br />Conservation Service (NRCS), who is additionally funding 75% of the total construction cost. <br />The project is 95% complete and is scheduled for completion in June of 2000. <br /> <br />Projects Under Design <br /> <br />Windsor Reservoir and Canal ComDanv - Various Canal and Reservoir Rehabilitations <br />Authorization: SB 96-153 County: Larimer- N. ofFt.
